2013 Bridgwater Challenge – Not a wash-out!

The forecast was right – it was showery, but generally the showers fell at relatively convenient times. It was great to see the Challenge Regulars who pop up once a year, as well as the Chandos members who faithfully support this event.

Pat Preater,( Chandos Secretary, in the pink smock) was in pole position; we haven’t seen her work yet as she couldn’t stay till the end. But it’s bound to be good! Honestly, we have a lovely time, the locals are always pleasant and interested, and some good work is produced.

We had to grab our cake away from the Archaeologists who were having a conference in the theatre at the Arts Centre, but no harm done. Just a few teeth marks (only kidding).

We had several photographers this year so it will make for an interesting mix when we have the ‘Bridgwater and the Levels’ Exhibition in September.

More on this when I get more photos …..
